It was great to be part of the Open RAN event hosted by TeleSemana. I am happy that this event was able to draw a large and enthusiastic audience, and I hope that they benefited from all the sessions at the event. In relation to my session on Open RAN security, it was heartening to see that the majority of participants felt that Open RAN offers equal or better security than traditional RAN offerings.

TeleSemana’s event on Open RAN has been extremely interesting, it gathered different visions regarding the many players involved in the Open RAN ecosystem, from integrators to network software and infrastructure providers. Moreover, TeleSemana’s agenda was excellent: it covered varied current topics, like security, cost analysis, infrastructures, etc…

Open RAN is a very relevant topic that may bring scale economies and increase competition in the mobile market, developing the ecosystem and the formation of new alliances.

This was a great event that had a comprehensive agenda, it was the appropriate space to discuss with participants about such an important topic as Open RAN. It was a virtual event executed very professionally where the moderator’s ample experience allowed everyone to make the most of each speaker.
