As Executive Vice President for AI and Data , Guy is responsible for helping TM Forum’s 800+ global Members pivot from AI experimentation to large-scale, industrial deployment. He is currently spearheading the Forum’s global "Trustworthy AI" initiative, establishing a framework where trust is not merely claimed through checklists but demonstrated through evidence-based verification. Guy and the team are leading the evolution of the Open Digital Architecture (ODA) to support AI- and data-native communications service providers. This work is focused on addressing the complex engineering challenges associated with industrializing AI, enabling members to manage the full AI lifecycle while maintaining rigorous controls over sovereignty, cost, and ethical governance. With more than 30 years of experience in senior roles across global telecoms and enterprise technology—including leadership positions at Telstra and NBN Co, Guy brings a powerful blend of technical depth and strategic leadership. A TM Forum Distinguished Fellow, he was recognized for his groundbreaking work on Network-as-a-Service (NaaS) standards. His expertise spans AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, cloud, and GRC (governance, risk, and compliance), backed by hands-on experience across the full technology lifecycle. He is currently pursuing a PhD at Swinburne University, focused on creating a metric for the trustworthiness of AI systems. This academic pursuit directly informs his mission at TM Forum: to provide boards and CEOs with a universal language and measurable standards for AI trust and accountability.
